Turmeric, marigolds and a lot of laughter. You will get yellow, so wear something you don’t mind staining.
सगाई एवं संगीत
7:30 PM onwards
The rings come first, then the dholak and the dance floor. Practise your steps, because the families have been practising theirs.
विवाह
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Seven rounds of the sacred fire and seven promises. Be there for the pheras.
प्रीतिभोज
8:00 PM onwards
Dinner, music and a long evening to meet the newlyweds, Mr & Mrs, for the very first time.
